Lessons and Rates
I teach skiing, snowboarding, and telemark skiing to any age level or ability. Currently I spend most of my time in the Austrian Alps, but I also am in Montana certain times of the winter season. Contact me to see if our schedules match.

Special note on snowboarding: Snowboarding is a fun, unique sport. However, unless the person has experience skateboarding, surfing or some other sideways-oriented sport, I would not recommend it for people younger than 7 or 8 since typically they do not have the core and leg strength to properly handle a snowboard. Many struggle just strapping in and out of the bindings on their own. For anyone who absolutely should not fall or just does not want to spend time on the ground, snowboarding is not a good choice because the first few days on a board can be rough.
Private or small group: I have experience in lesson settings from one to twenty people. The fewer the people, though, the better the lesson is for the students. However, if the members of a larger group are close to the same ability level or willing to wait on those members that are a little slower, I can provide a lesson that benefits all group members.
Rates: The rates vary depending on the location, the number of people in the lesson, and the length of the lesson. For example, if we were to ski or ride at Maverick Mountain in Montana, we would use their ski school rates. If we arranged a lesson at an Austrian ski area, it would depend on factors such as lift ticket prices and location (in other words, if I was already at the ski area or had to travel to it.)
