I had been an avid and enthusiastic skier for more than 30 years. In 2006 I had a very serious ski accident in the Austrian alps. For the rest of that season and the next I could not ski. In 2008 it was time to get back on my beloved slats .... but with a lot of hesitation. I decided I would not go unless it was with Nathan. I had seen him teaching students at areas in Montana and in Austria. I knew he was patient and a hell of a lot of fun. The first few runs were a true test of what my injured leg could do or not do. With Nathan's expert eye and clear analysis, it didn't take long to correct my problems and get me back into proper form. Thank you Nathan for getting my ski life back, although it will never be what it was before the accident.

My husband and son gave me a hard time when I told them I was booking a private lesson. I was a self-taught beginner, who had been told for years that I was 'athletic' and could figure it out on my own. I had reached the point of being able to hit the groomers and go along for the social aspects of skiing, but I had stopped improving. After just one lesson with you, Nathan, both my husband and son were amazed at how my skis were closer together, and how I was actually approaching the hill more aggressively. They hooted and hollered on my first run! What's more is that I feel that I am now skiing far more efficently, and that has saved my legs. I am actually enjoying new, challenging terrain because I feel in control. Your mixture of practical physics and simple catchy mantras that I continue to repeat really connected with me. Thanks a ton! I'm gonna make you proud!!
